Sustaining Mentorship and Education in Crisis – The Experience of Al-Mabarrat Schools (Al-Kawthar High School in Lebanon)- 3/10/2020
Online “Workshop with Al Kawthar School TAMAM Lead Team. Zoom Hour: Beirut, Lebanon.
This session started by an introductory speech by Mrs. Rana Ismail (the supervising administration of Al-Kawthar High School), then a presentation by the members of the TAMAM leadership team at Al-Kawthar High School.
In light of the various crises that we face, whether from a health, economic and social point of view, the TAMAM leadership team at Al Kawthar School – one of the TAMAM pioneer schools – will present the experience of Al Mabarrat schools in responding to the requirements of these crises in order to ensure the sustainability of care and education.
The most important ideas covered in the session were:
How to comprehensively plan for an exceptional year to capture the various needs of crises (health protocols, educational approach, social emotional support activities …).
Field experience (audacity of implementation, from the part to the whole, experimentation is a way to learn and improve, documentation preserves the experience)
Lessons learned, conclusions and future prospects
