Carnegie Middle East Center new report titled Arab Horizons: Pitfalls and Pathways to Renewal
Dr. Rima Karami, TAMAM Project director, participated in a panel discussion along with Dr. Marwan Muasher and Dr. Joseph Bahout. The panel was moderated by Dr. Maha Yahya and held as part of launching the Carnegie Middle East Center new report titled Arab Horizons: Pitfalls and Pathways to Renewal. The report explores the challenges facing the Arab world, notably challenges that relate to political economy, governance, education, refugee crises, and conflict. It is based on the premise that citizens and states should forge new social contracts to address these massive challenges. Arab Horizons is composed of five policy-oriented chapters that include commentary by Carnegie scholars and prominent experts. Dr. Rima Karami was one of the contributing authors to the Education chapter entitled: “Engaging Society to reform Arab Education: From Schooling to Learning”. The chapter was co-authored by Dr. Marwan Muasher and Dr. Nathan J. Brown. Here is the link for the Facebook Post
