Ms. Rayan Katerji

Rayan Katerji is a specialist in educational management and leadership, currently an EdD student at the University of Glasgow, United Kingdom. She is presently working on her doctoral dissertation which focuses on influencing educational policies and understanding advocacy strategies rooted in the Arab context. She holds a master’s degree in educational leadership, along with a teaching diploma in secondary sciences, and a Bachelor of Science in Biology; all from the American University of Beirut. She has worked for ten years in schools in the fields of teaching, instructional supervision, and professional development. Since 2013, she has served as an internal coach and coordinator of the TAMAM project at a private school in Lebanon, then moved in 2019 to become a member of the TAMAM steering team at the American University of Beirut.

She has been a member of the advisory board for a private school in Lebanon from 2013 to 2023 and is currently a member of the Research and Educational Relations Unit within the education department overseeing this school. She received varied training from local and international institutions and actively contributed to the design of the TAMAM training program and many professional development activities for its professional network. She also participates in research and studies related to sustainable school improvement and the learning process and has contributed to conferences and seminars addressing these topics.
